OVERVIEW

We are at the heart of ambitious projects

From the hull shape file and the general arrangement plan, our calculation and design tools enable us to design the most efficient ‘hull plating / internal structure’ assembly. General design and structural validation are performed directly in 3D. All results are then recorded in construction plans directly usable in the shipyard’s workshop.

The loads specifically related to the presence of the mast (mast compression, rigging tension, general vessel balance) and sails are studied using our calculation tools dedicated to this type of analysis and validated for over 30 years. The particular case of catamarans is fully considered: central platform rigidity, torsion between the two hulls, ‘slamming’ phenomena on the bow, ….
