Based on the hull form file and the general arrangement plan, our calculation and design tools enable us to design the most efficient ‘hull plating / internal structure’ assembly. General design and structural validation are performed directly in 3D. All results are then recorded in construction plans directly usable in the shipyard’s workshop.
Loads specifically related to engine and propulsion are specially taken into account, as well as ‘slamming’ loads, which are particularly important for planing hull vessels.
